Greatest idea.....EVER! !!
so i am sitting here trying to scrap...sigh. not going well. see, on my computer, ( and in numerous little booklets) i have 'things you say' notes. all the cute, not so cute, funny, incomprehensible and lovable things my kids have said over the years. and i thought....ALBUM! just a really simple album documenting it all.
5 x 7, cause i loooove little harcovers, and i think it would just be the cutest thing EVER to have.... i imagine myself years from now, having forgotten it all, being able to look through it and laugh. and maybe compare it to 'them' now. so i went through my stuff and found these...!
perfect right??
anyway. so this is what i have come up with so far.
i hope you can read them... i have 12 pages done so far. all of them B/W, but then the last two i did using Paislee Press and FeiFei's collab embrace... and now i don't know if i'm going to keep it AS simple....
what do you think?

Seriously the best idea ever! Love that there are not pictures, and I like the pages with a little color, but I would keep most black and white...I am working on a book to, but not having nearly this much fun:)
I think this is a great idea Nichole. Like Kim suggested, I'd keep things simple with the quotes / frames being in b&w. How about having the quote page on one side and a piece of complimentary patterned paper on the opposite ... example, if you have the "book" open in front of you, the quotes could be on the RH page and a piece of pretty patterned paper could be on the LH page. KWIM? Whatever you come up with, I'm sure it will look fabulous & you'll cherish reading it in years to come! Hugs, sue.falstaff
Brilliant! I don't have any suggestions for you though. I saw your last album and you are going to rock this!
really love it! I always think of something with my little one, just waiting for the time he start talking...
Beautiful!!!
Perfect idea indeed!
Love the simplicity of it all. I love Sue's idea of the patterned paper on one page & the quotes on the other.
Show it to us when you're done - I'm sure it will turn out great!
