so a year and a half ago, we got invited to a wedding. this year. middle of april. 2 weeks. in mexico!

so we started saving. and it's here! we were just saying how fast it all went! anyways. we aren't taking the kids. which is mostly alright. nana is coming to watch them, and i'm almost totally ok with that. i have spent the last 2 months preparing them.  get up, get cereal, brush their hair and teeth. all the 'morning' stuff, without having to be asked. and they have their own chores now, and know when to do their homework, what time they each go to bed. it's been good. they are sooooo good. no complaints. instead they are proud of themselves, knowing that i trust them enough to do it all on their own! hahahahahaha

Justin said to me in the middle of it all,

mama? THANK YOU for trusting us!

for trusting us to do all these things by ourselves! your the best mom ever!

poor thing!

so i have booked a few events for us already.... we are going to go on this canopy tour, which has zip lines 360 feet up, 1650 feet long! its a whole day thing with hours of hiking! rapelling down a waterfall........i am so excited   and a day trip, snorkeling with turtles and manta rays!  then this rhythyms of the night cruise, dinner dancing and a show.

it looks amazing. i can't wait. i have almost everything i need.

i went out last week and literally bought an entire new summer wardrobe. AND it was fun! for years i have hated shopping! but i got a bunch of really cute little dresses and skirts.

now, all i need is a swimsuit. eeeeeeeeeeeek!
