i had the BEST conversation this morning.....EVER!

ok, so i'm on the phone this morning...... seriously??  the funniest thing ever!

so my friend and i are discussing the 'art' of different crafts. like photography, for instance, and how love and passion and knowledge, and just plain "getting it", make such a huge difference. The way one person takes a photo SOOC, and brings on emotion, the someone else tkes the same photo, adds.....texture, changes it entirely, and yet it STILL provokes emotion.... amazing really.

now, we're women, right? so multi-tasking, isn't something you consider, or indulge in, it's instinctive, so when her and i get on the phone we often clean our houses top to bottom.

** you really need to try it. find someone you can call 3-5 times a week and talk about everything from children to mother-in-laws, other bitchy school mom's, your passion for colour or all things handmade, your feelings of illogical guilt, to the most annoying postion your husband likes to have sex.
it's freeing and stimulating, and best of all??? your house gets spotless and it's FEELS effortless. **

so, we're chatting this particular morning, and said friend realizes she hasn't mown her lawn in a while. *smile*

-  do you mind??

- absolutely not!!! we've vacummed together...what's the constant hum of a lawnmore?

so she asks her 'significant other', ok, let's call it what it is, moronic husband! to watch the baby....

huh? what? ummmmm.....
then i hear silence, and i swear to you, i have never met him, but i could see the look on his face.

"alright, that's ok', she says to me, 'that's fine, i can do this. BUT, the rest of HIS day????? so NOT gonna be good."

needless to say, her, her 4 year old son, the baby in the exersaucer, all pile out into the yard.....

so we resume our chatter.....and i hear....'oh crap'..... i have to move the trampoline.....

THAT'S IT!!! YOU HAVE TO GO AND GET YOUR CAMERA!!!!!

YES I'M SERIOUS!!!
you need to document a day in the life of .....something like this cannot be wasted...
man drives by, sees this beautiful woman, with 2 children, pushing a lawnmore, flipping and dragging a cord as she goes, with her head tilted at an angle, why? he wonders to himself, so he looks closer, and realizes she's got a phone tucked into her shoulder..... of all the!!!!

now, would you like to SEE what this girls morning looked like???? i know i do......
