i'm going to try
so, i've done some thinking and soul searching this summer.... not sure of the outcome yet... but i do know i want to blog...
i think, my not blogging has a lot to do with not knowing how much to share... you know, we go through things, and instead of sharing.. we just don't post at all. or at least i do. i have a hard time getting in touch with my surface when i am experiencing life in the deep... sigh. and it's not anything life threatening, or my marriage or anything like that... just self discovery i guess...
but blogging in and of itself is something i love... i love reading everyone's blogs... which i do faithfully. don't or can't always comment. but i appreciate the trouble everyone goes to writing and posting photos and layouts... i immerse myself in everyone's lives... and feel... full.
so here's to trying! hahahaha.
i have a project in the making... i am going to create a wall of expression in my family room.... going to take photos of the kids. just their faces in as many expressions as i can... then mount them... all in B/W. i think it will be really cool. i'm hoping anyway....
so i've been playing around with editing. it's fun, frustrating, confusing, overwhelming... hahahaha. i love it!
more later... some faces heehee. i'm not much for flowers and things. but it was still fun....

Feel exactly the same! Too concerned about who might read and how will they take it instead of just being myself and saying, "oh well, this is me". I LOVE your honesty and hope you do blog more! And really, could processing be any more time-consuming? I find I spend hours on just one photo and then wonder why it takes me so long to finish my projects...but then I have to remind myself, it's the process that makes the end result so rewarding and cathartic. Still I wish I was a little more efficient! Love the idea for your wall!

i've been trying to blog alot more lately too. i have the same problem, how much to share? then i feel like i have nothing to write about! the shots look great, and i love your idea of an expression wall, it's brilliant.
